Those allergic to the ingredients such as almonds; 

those with allergic dermatitis; 

those with bacterial or viral infections in the face; 

those who have taken isotretinoin medications in the last 6 months; 

those who have recently undertaken operations; 

those who have recently undertaken chemotherapy; 

those who have tanned or been burned by the sun in the last 4 weeks; pregnant women; 

diabetes patients, 

those with high blood pressure etc; 

those who have had laser therapy in the last two weeks.

Everyone’s skin is different, so our practitioners will create a custom plan based on your needs. Chemical skin peels usually require between 3 and 6 treatments to get visible improvement, but everybody is different so please ask our practitioners at the time of consultation.

Unfortunately not. Medical grade Chemical Skin Peels require acid in relatively high concentrations and therefore it will need a professional practitioners to perform this treatment. Our practitioners will thoroughly test your skin during the consultation and find the correct concentration and suitable treatment time. If performed at home, it could burn your skin and result in hyperpigmentation.

It’s not an exfoliation of the entire epidermis. Outside of this, clinical trials have proven that chemical skin peels can stimulate renew of the epidermis while thickening it by increasing the collagen in the dermis, even further thickening the boost the health of the skin.

Chemical skin peels may cause a temporary irritation to the skin, but this kind of irritation requires only 1-2 days to disappear.

Chemical Skin Peels are extracted from natural plan/fruits or nuts. It is not corrosive and only gently exfoliates the epidermis while accelerating the metabolism of the skin cells.

If sun protection isn’t adequately undertaken, hyperpigmentation might occur after the treatment, acne might temporarily worsen or the capillaries might widen, etc. Choosing professional clinic to do the treatment can avoid these side effects.

1.For 1-2 days after the treatment, there will be slight redness and itching.

For 3-7 days after the treatment, you may see dry flaky skin, scabbing or skin peeling. These you should let them come off naturally, do not use your hands to pick at them. 

The treated areas must be protected from the sun. Before the skin returns to normal, direct sun exposure must be avoided.   SPF30+ sun cream is necessary to prevent UV rays from causing hyperpigmentation.

You must not apply makeup for 24 hours after the procedure.

For one week after the treatment, please avoid letting the treated area come in contact with very hot water, and avoid high-temperature environments such as sunbathing, spas, saunas, etc. 

For two weeks after the treatment, please avoid using any exfoliating skincare products, which reduce stimulation of the skin and avoid over-exfoliation. 

If you have acne, localised scabbing might occur after the peel. Please avoid using the hands to pick at this and allow the scabbing to come off of its own accord to avoid hyperpigmentation.
