Sagging eye lids and eye bags
Sagging eyelids and eye bags can make your appearance look tiring and older than your actual age, when the condition is severe, it can even start to interfere with your vision. Both sagging eyelids and eye bags are usually cosmetic concerns and do not require medical treatment.
Symptoms
People with sagging eyelids and eye bags may look tiring the whole time even when they are not actually feeling tired. The sagging eyelids and eye bags make your eyelids and under eye appear baggy, puffy and swelling, the excess skin of the upper eyelid can interfere with your vision if the sagginess is severe.
Causes
As ageing begins, your skin starts to produce less and less collagen, which causes the skin around your eyes to lose its elasticity, and therefore turn into a baggy and sagging appearance. Fatty tissue that naturally sits in the rim of the eye socket to cushion the eye starts to bulge forward as the tissue that previously held it in place weakens during the ageing process. This makes the eye bag and eyelids become puffy, full, and swollen.
